We went to California to visit family and friends, but mainly because Scotty wanted to go to his 20 year high school reunion. So we drove down and spent a week there. It was a good trip.
Cassidy and Joscie are about two months apart. Sescie is my step sister. We were able to see her and my step brother Michael, as well as their spouses.
Hannah, Asher (Sescie's son) and Josie were getting to know each other better.
This is one of Scotty's favorite pictures. It looks like one of those fashion model pics with the steel door and the way the light is hitting it. We went to lunch with my dad at the hot dog/burger joint on Ventura that is in an old train car. The girls loved it.

We hit the beach while we were on vacation.
Cassidy wanted to get in the ocean until she felt the water. Then the tears started. The water was pretty cold, but Hannah and Bree didn't mind.
Scotty's brother Greg lives right next to Castaic Lake so we were able to go out on the boat the last day we were in town. Our neice Lexie left school early and went out with us. It was a good day.

Cassidy loves to jump on the trampoline. This picture cracks me up everytime I see it. It captures her personality perfectly, And check out the finger - she's number 1!!

The day before we left for CA, we took this picture. Hannah's eye is still not looking too good. It's a good shot of all the girls. They are actually looking the same place. 
Cassidy found one of the large tomatoes growing in our garden and decided it looked too good to not eat. It ended up a huge mess, but she loved every bite.
The girls love to go to the elementary school playground.
